Below are our tour options.

Sepik River Adventure: 6 Days

Day 1: International Arrival – Port Moresby Half-Day Tour

Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel for refreshments. Our guide will then pick up your group for the Port Moresby city tour.

The tour includes visits to Parliament House, the National Museum, and the National Park, where you will have lunch. Afterwards, we will visit Koki Fish Market and take a scenic drive through Hanuabada Stilt Village before returning to Airways Hotel for the night.

Day 2: Transfer – Mt Hagen – Karawari

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Mt Hagen (POM - HGU), arriving at 10:30 AM.

Upon arrival, you will check in to your hotel for refreshments and lunch. Later, we will visit Mt Hagen’s main town market to see subsistence farmers displaying their produce. After lunch, we will head to Rondon Hill for birdwatching before returning to Rondon Ridge Hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Karawari – Sepik River Villages

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Kagamuga Airport for a chartered flight to Karawari Airstrip.

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by the Yokoim Singsing Group, who will lead you to the waterfront for a canoe ride to Karawari Lodge/Kundiman Village Guest House.

Before beginning the half-day tour, you will have a short break at Karawari Lodge/Kundiman Village Guest House.

• We will visit Kundiman Village to experience sago harvesting, followed by lunch.

• After lunch, we will continue to Yimas Village for a traditional fish singsing performance.

• Afterwards, we will return to Karawari Lodge/Kundiman Village Guest House for the evening.

Day 4: Kundiman – Manjamai – Konmei – Ambanwari

After breakfast, we will visit:

• Manjamai Spirit House for cultural insights, followed by a Tumban dance and fishing demonstration.

• Konmei Village for a tour of the men’s house and a headhunting dance performance, followed by a lunch break.

• Ambanwari Village to explore art & crafts displays and participate in cultural demonstrations.

Afterwards, we will return to Karawari Lodge/Kundiman Village Guest House for the night.

Day 5: Kundiman – Maramba – Moruok – Chimbut

At 6:00 AM, we will go for an early morning birdwatching tour at Kundiman Village, then return for breakfast.

After breakfast, we will visit:

• Maramba Art Gallery House for local artwork.

• Moruok Men's House for an insight into traditional customs, followed by lunch.

• Chimbut Village to see waterfalls and cultural demonstrations.

Afterwards, we will return to Karawari Lodge/Kundiman Village Guest House for the night.

Day 6: Karawari – Mt Hagen – Port Moresby

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Karawari Airstrip for your flight to Mt Hagen, and then continue your journey back to Port Moresby.
